Six creatives working in ceramic were asked to reimagine our Pith Sconce. Each maker brings a distinct visual language to the fixture's minimalist design.

"Spring Awakenings! FleursBella", created by Cara Jean. Cara is a former professional dancer turned clay artist. Her make-believe gardens, hand painted with blossoms & caricatures of tiny owls, dancing chickens, jazzy cats and puffins reflect where I would love to sit or just be. Roberta Smith, Art Critic for the New York Times described a Porcelain Vase of mine “Confetti Heron, The Vase” as “It’s late late LATE Rococo, beautifully painted inside and out and signed by ‘Cara”.
