Designer Feature
Anya Dinovich is the founder and artist behind Seven Sundays Studios, where she creates one-of-a-kind works that exist at the intersection of fiber art, soft sculpture, and interior object.
Working primarily with Icelandic sheepskin and wool, her practice is deeply material-led. Rather than imposing a predetermined design, she allows the inherent qualities of the materials—their texture, movement, color, and imperfections—to shape the creative process. Each piece is made by hand in her Sonoma studio using techniques including needle felting, hot-water felting, hand weaving, and continual experimentation, embracing unexpected outcomes as an essential part of the work.
