Formerly president and executive creative director of J.Crew Group, Jenna now trains her exacting eye and encyclopedic material knowledge on furniture, lighting, and interiors. Her love of shape and texture informs each project. Whether the medium is fashion or furnishings, her goal remains the same: to create luxuriously simple pieces that look better with age.
“My inspirations? Film, art, people, architecture, the sky, the trees,
and, of course, the stars.”
Pendant
Evoking both celestial and organic forms, the Laddi pendant comprises a white oak stem, Italian glass shade, and cast-brass base. The solid, star-shaped base is unlacquered, allowing it to patinate over time.
“I wanted to design pieces that felt like they belonged to the night. They are not task lighting. They are for dancing with the owner in the twilight hours.”

Material matters
For Jenna, everything starts with materials. Then comes craftsmanship: the attention to detail that conveys one’s pride in the work and desire to make a piece last. That ethos carries through the Laddi collection. We build and finish each fixture by hand at our Michigan workshop.
