Thea by Caroline Blackburn explores form as a filter for light. Rather than relying on applied elements, the ceramic body itself determines how light is revealed, subtly regulating brightness through contour, thickness, and intentional irregularity. Each sconce is hand-built by Caroline herself. The transformation that occurs in the kiln plays an active role in the final expression. No two pieces are identical.
