Jonas Damon is a New York–based designer who emphasizes a hybrid approach to his work. Since 2008, he has been a creative director at Frog design, leading a creative team helping the world’s leading companies bring innovative products and experiences to market. As principal of Office for Design, a practice he started in 2000, he creates highly personal and experimental objects that serve to inspire the marketplace, and mines cultural memories to create emotional connections between objects and their users. These two occupations are at opposite ends of the industry but play a vital role in informing each other: they are both about creating meaningful products and experiences. Educated at the Rhode Island School of Design, Jonas Damon’s clients have included: Areaware, AT&T, Chrysler, Comcast, Idee, Fiat, Target, and Unilever.
